The Graphic Review, 3rd Graphic Art Biennial of Szeklerland is organized for the 3rd time, between 5 September and 20 December 2014. The competition first announced in 2010, then in 2012 by the Covasna County Council, the Harghita County Council, and the Mureş County Council has attracted graphic artists from 26 countries so far.
This year’s organizers, the Covasna County Council and the Cultural Center of Covasna County, as well as the co-organizers, the Harghita County Council and the Lăzarea Cultural and Creation Center offer, as in the previous years, three prizes of 1,000 Euro and a main prize of 2,000 Euro. Artworks can be submitted in the categories of both traditional and experimental graphics. The four best artworks will be selected by an international professional jury.
The evaluation of the artworks will take place in two phases: there will be a phase of pre-selection of the artworks submitted in digital format, in the course of which the 200 artworks proposed for participation, to be sent by mail, will be selected. In the next phase, as a result of a second evaluation by the jury, the four awarded artworks will be selected.
The Awarding Ceremony will take place at the Tamási Áron Theatre on 21 January 2015. The artworks selected for the biennial will be exhibited at the Transylvanian Center of Fine Arts.
